With the way our running game took over with some big plays we didn't get to see much of Warner this game. I would have liked to see him get more reps against the same D that Matt faced so we could have a more accurate assessment. Looks like it will come down to the final preseason game and it will be interesting to see how many reps each guy gets. I really hope Whiz doesn't gameplan and pound the ball against Denver's crappy run defense. I'd like to see both QBs rotate each series next game.

I would agree with you if Kurt came in a lit it up which he didn't. He came in a fumbled then threw one good pass and handed off the rest of the night. So there was nothing proven tonight. I'm not saying he wouldn't have looked better than Matt, he just didn't get the chance due to the running game.

It think it is apparent that Matt will start week 1 but will be on a very short leash.

100% this is not good. Even though Kurt should be the starter his fumble issues, not knowing when to take a sack, and dumb interceptions doesn't exactly give me a warm fuzzy either. If KW is out best chance at winning this year it could be a long year. 10-18 as a starter the past three years in AZ.

If Matt threw 21 TD's as Warner did in the last 7 games or so last year he would be known as the savior here on the board. Warner proved he can play AND win, even with one arm. If Warner would have played all year we would have went to the playoffs. I am VERY comfortable with Kurt starting as he went 5-2 in the last 7 games of the year last year.

Right now he doesn't have the confidence. I also think he fills the pressure of looking over his shoulder and seeing Kurt.

You said it better than I did. After Matt STUNK IT UP I fully expected Kurt to come out slinging. He didn't and we didn't need him to do so but it was a wasted opportunity on the QB front.

I hear what you are saying, but right now we have 2 options. Matt or Kurt and Kurt is the better option even though he does have his set of problems. Its kinda like getting married, All chicks got problems you just have to find the one whose problems you can work with.

I don't care who starts. I just don't want to be "adopting" a team for the months of Jan and Feb. I just want someone to lead this freaking team to the playoffs. Sorry not taking it out on you, it's just frustrating to have all the pieces and being held back at one position. KW played great last year, but I still can't help to hold my breath every time he takes the snap.
