That's as pro-Suns as Barkley has EVER been.

D'Antoni at noon.

Good. I have always loved his personality, but hated how much bad blood he had with the organization.

trust me - you don't want to hear it. as mad as you are now, just listening to that weasel's voice will make you 1,000 times more pissed.

i don't know if I even watch the game tonight. I am seriously so close to turning off the NBA until this ass-clown steps down from office.

I would be sick as well after listening to Cuban's pothetic cry speech.

I'll watch the game tonight in support of the Suns, and in the hope that they pull off something amazing. Although, I had a dream last night that I tuned in late and Phoenix was already down 35-12. :bang:

Stern has always been disliked by the fans and even players. Now I know why.

We shouldn't forget this ever. I only wish that the Suns win the title this year. I'd love to see the players tear him a new a-hole when he presents them with the trophy.

Dan Patrick just said they are going to replay the Stern interview later. Go to espnradio.com to listen.

Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't listen... Is there an archived recording somewhere?

They've already got it archived up on espnradio.com. The Stern interview, I mean. But you have to be an Insider.

Stern seems like he just doesn't care, that Patrick's questions almost aren't worth answering. Maybe he's like that to show that he really is "sick".

I sent this in to Dan Patrick:

Dan, I'm glad you went after Stern for his decisions. You need better attack points against Stern.

1) The rule is written with lots of gray area - what's their definition of an "altercation" and "vicinity of the bench".

2) Duncan & Bowen onto the court from the bench in the 2nd qtr on the Elson - James Jones play. League decides no altercation so if James Jones started a fight with Elson then Duncan & Bowen would be suspended. Way to reward teams for starting altercations. This also sets a bad precedent that bench players can come onto the court to complain about calls or non-calls without any penalty whenever they want to as long as no altercation ensues. Duncan & Bowen should've at least been assessed technical fouls when they play was reviewed.

3) Cameras panned down to the Spurs bench very late in the action, but I still was able to see Spurs bench players with their feet on the court, which players have been suspended for in the past. Why has this not been looked at?

4) To expect players to not have an emotional reaction when their star player and heart of their team is brutally assaulted is absurd. Stern seems to want the players to be robots with his new zero tolerance policies.

Maybe Stern has a pysocological issue and he wants to demonstrate that he is the man with all the control.

I just heard a snippet of the interview on the way to lunch and I want to strangle the SOB with my bare hands. "Yeah we should bend the rules to make it so more people show up to the games." No jackass you should use the spirit of the rule as a guideline and not reward players for being thugs.

True character of an individual doesn't show up when things are going right, it shows up when things are going wrong. What did Stern do when things went wrong? He ran away and only responds with sarcasm. Way to be a leader and a class act Stern.

This league has a long history of promoting thug behavior and the commish is to dumb to realise that he is making the product unwatchable. The league is dead to me.

And 5) 18 seconds to go in the game, everyone was already standing, he and Jackson keep saying that they got up and left the bench. That's only half true.

He's attacking Dan Patrick!

You can go on the ESPN NBA frontpage, and if you have Insider there is a link.

Damn I missed it and I'm not an 'insider.' Stern is a tool though, isn't he the same guy who helped keep Connie Hawkins out of the NBA for a while?

EDIT: Ok they just said they are going to replay the interview!
