What the hell? Just some random homeless person who was being a dick? What did you do, how did you refrain for assaulting the fool?

a) it was a woman - like one of Alice Cooper's bum minions in that movie Prince of Darkness and b) it was such a surreal moment so between that and the pain, I just stood there stunned beyond belief, boiling, literally with rage. i really can't do justic how weird of a moment that whole thing was.

Upton with an RBI double to left. Looks fine to me, so far. Give him a few weeks to get a bit more comfortable before you judge him.

What an awesome road trip.

I was so damn nervous before the start of the two (Pads and Dodgers) series and the Dbacks have by FAR exceeded what I thought was going to happen.

Kudos all around to all of them!!

normally, I'd be pretty pissed/restless if I was just sitting around the house all day on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm happy as a clam watching the Backs really come of age right now... not to mention the odds are much lower of some homeless woman dousing me with scalding hot coffee when I'm just sitting on my couch as opposed to being in public.

I'm going to laugh my head off when a homeless woman sneaks into your yard, cracks your window open and nails you with hot coffee while you're on the couch.

lol. although, I live on the second floor of an apartment complex... then, again, it would be even funnier if she climbed her way up the side of the building, broke the window, then threw the coffee at me.

seriously, that kind of stuff doesn't happen to ANYONE I know, but ROUTINELY happens to me. I must have been Hitler in another life.

I second that Cheese, very impressive. Now with Pittsburgh, Washington and Florida coming up, if the Snakes can take care of business and maybe go 7-2, or 6-3, they may be able to really pull away from SD and LA.

Watching upton I get the same feeling I did watching miguel cabrera in 2003, you just know the guy is gonna be a damn good hitter for a long time.

Have the Dbacks ever swept the Dodgers in LA before? If so it can't be more than a couple of times.

Well, that is one test passed, but in less than two weeks they face another and possibly the most important stretch of their season.

Starting the 17th, the Diamondbacks face in order:
Braves
Brewers
Cubs
Padres (four games in SD)
Rockies
Padres (Chase Field)

That's 19 games that could very well make or break our playoff chances.

I agree, but with Pittsburgh and Washington comin up, I think we need to take care of business one series at a time.

I wouldn't be surprised by us stumbling against the teams people think we should beat.
