Diamondbacks Game Day: David Peralta out of lineup due to illness
Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta was not in the lineup for Tuesday night’s series opener against the Washington Nationals, nor was he seen at the park as of a couple of hours before first pitch.

Manager Torey Lovullo says Peralta is the latest player to be taken by illness, and the club decided to have him stay at the hotel for at least the early afternoon.

A lot of ball & strike pitches have been going against us (as confirmed on replay). And of course, the horrible call on "interference" at 2B.

I wonder what is going on behind the scenes.

And they just announced that Rodney will close tonight. A save will change his grade from an "F" to a "D-". Another blown save will lower it to "F-----".

Glad Rodney somewhat redeemed himself but man he had several pitches go all over the place. Herrmann had to do some quick gloves moves to get a few of those.

Great win against one of the better teams in baseball!
