I'm sorry I didn't realize that discussing the struggles of this team was considered being neagtive or Woe is me. Steve is terrible and I am not the first fan to bring it up. He does this all the time when the game is close...

Goldy is clearly not right, but at what point did I say he wasn't contributing anything? You are twisting my comments for some reason.

There was a play the other night where he thew home and made a great run saving out and after the throw he immediately grimaced. I wasn't criticizing the Dbacks for not telling us, again you have decided to twist my words for no apparent reason. Is this not a place to discuss the team? I'm sorry if my comments bother you.

On the other hand, I was looking on the bright side of whatever is bothering Goldy. 'Nothing personal intended, Bert.

Salty is 6 for 12 as a pinch hitter and has hit over .300 lately. With three Catchers on the roster, I can see him playing 1B for awhile and giving Goldy a rest. And another lefty in the lineup.

Move Pollock to 3rd in the order while Goldy rests. His performance is almost right up there with Goldy's. And he has been very consistent.

It looks like David is getting some rest. Even though he has been hitting lefties well, a lefty started tonight.

Goldy needs the rest more than anyone.

Totally agree and I think Salty at 1B for a few games is a really solid plan.

I know Goldy has said he doesn't want to sit, but Hale needs to just make the decision for him.

I believe that Holmberg is another lefty and that we might be seeing four in a row during this Reds series.

Who knows, maybe Peralta has a nagging injury that Chip is nursing subtly. A series vs. lefties would be the time to do it.

Hale and Peralta know a lot more about it than we do. And the silence, do we really expect them to announce it and give the opposition insight?
