My wife is still a little put off by it. I got over it pretty quickly, but boy that initial impact was a doozy. Great season and John Lithgow plays an amazing creep.

The ending was shocking no doubt but I'm actually kind of happy the more I think about it that you know who won't be on the show anymore.

incredible ending

i bought the earlier safety setup hook line and sinker

i expected a twist, especially with debra gaining some additional light and dexter being in the garage so quickly (like one of the things that raised suspicion with christine)

did not expect that

just wow

my wife was a little in shock - my sister in law said she had trouble sleeping last night

they may lose some people over this, but so be it

take the chance - that was an amazing ending and the storylines that could be lost are more damaging than the loss of the character who I personally felt was getting a bit stale

so many directions this could go, but so many ways the writers can trip over themselves

so many questions that need to be answered and that should be asked by others as well (in large part why) .... also are any of the detectives going to remember trinity swinging by the stationhouse and speaking to dexter, now that they know what he looks like

simply amazing

Keep in mind folks.

There are some of us that won't see this until it comes out on DVD.

Thanks.

Then don't you think it would be kind of silly to even read this thread? Since the point of it is to talk about the season and things that happened in it? :D

The gist of the season is fine and hard to ignore if you pay attention to the media.
Spoilers are a whole other issue.
Some people don't understand the concept of spoilers.

I understand the concept. They just suck and are a pain in my arse. :)

Now if they had an easy way to put them in like the bolding feature then not so much.

It's actually easier then making a youtube link.

Finally got a chance to watch the episode.... I am so disturbed. I do find it pretty funny the talk about folks being upset about it and not watching anymore. Hello, it's a show about a serial killer... what'd you expect? A perfect happy ending? Silly...

spoilers are fine and great - but when is the acceptable time frame to actually be able to discuss what happens with a show

2 months later, 6 months later

should we wait for this season to replay on the 101 before speaking about it?

i see little benefit to joining a discussion on a show that I haven't watched but intend on watching

would be like joining a book club, going to the meeting and then complaining that they spoiled the ending and gave away all the plots and character developments

or reading a game thread and being pissed that people are announcing fumbles, who scored, injuries, and the final outcome of the game just because you have it on DVR and haven't watched it yet

damn, fitzgerald scored a TD - why wouldn't you spoiler that - now it's all ruined

yeah - the way they did it and all the angles it ties in is perfectly neat and completely messy .... just a perfect fit for the show

i mean you made it through the first season where they had dexter and his brother up to their elbows in blood after their mom and a few others were brutally murdered with a chain saw .... and now you balk

also the acting of both lithgow and hall this season was incredible

Agree with the presumption mostly. But he seems to be just fine at being a brother(debra)
