I knew there would be a thread on this. Put me in the "No Way" category. Wilks' job is going to be hard enough this year, Bryant is basically the type of diva he needs to have nothing to do with.

I would rather have Ridley (1st) or Kirk (2nd) over Bryant by a mile and a half.

Apparently Dez told the media on his way out, "I'll see you guys twice a year". So, in his mind, he's staying in the East. Where? I've no idea.
Which proves what a dick & cancer around a “team” atmosphere he is lol

It says a lot when Jerry Jones cuts you. That guy signs felons without hesitation. He must be done unless Belichick is willing to roll the dice or maybe HOU.

Those two are not even in the same ballpark. Chris Carter had some of the best hands ever, precise route runner. Dez is basically a one trick pony who won off of beating people on raw talent and simply does not have the dedication or attention span to adapt now... Carter was a pro's pro and Dez is dezspicable when he does not get his way

Cardinals won’t pursue Dez unless he’s willing to work cheap. And who is?

Would prefer to draft Calvin Ridley in first round than pay big bucks to Dez Bryant.

Ridley is a good player but I really do not think he is first round talent compared to other draft classes... I think going Kirk, Washington, or that kid from Memphis in the second would be just as good and I hope we do go WR in the second unless they believe in a guy like Lauletta

Depends on money. Five million yes 15 million no. Dez is still a good player and we have nothing but Fitz. Having both on the field with DJ would give us a pretty scary offense.

OK, hear me out. Cris Carter turned his career around at age 28, Dez is 29 and is more accomplished than Cris was at that point. Put Dez in the right situation, maybe he can do that same and I think Fitz can do that for him.

More like 26 years old when he emerged on the Vikings and have you ever heard Chris Carter speak and then listen to Dez. It's like comparing a valedictorian and 8 year old with a learning disorder.

We have Saint Fitz and people want us to bring in Satan.

Carter didn't have his first 1000 yard season until 28 and 100 reception season until 29. Also, he has talked about not being fully clean of drug and alchohol until then which is what I am referring to with turning his career around. And who cares how articulate someone is, that has no bearing on them as a person. I'm willing to let Fitz mentor him and see if he can be salvaged.

Brice Butler on if he'd lobby Dez Bryant to #Cardinals if #Cowboys cut him: "Whatever we need to help the team, but look, I’m trying to ball out. Dez is my guy, but I don’t want him on my team making it harder for me for me to get where I need to go. You know what I’m saying?"

Here is a fun fact, if Dez ends up in AZ, the Cardinals would have 4 1st round picks from the 2010 draft and not one was drafted by the Cardinals.

Can you name the other three without looking them up?

Thought one was Chandler Jones but that was 2012. I knew Bradford and Gresham came out together but had to look the third one up.

This a million times over. Keim will offer no more than a one year prove it deal and there will be some other team out there that will offer him a multi year contract. Whether you want him or not he's not going to be in a Cardinal uniform.

Okay, the issue isn't that we have little money left. I don't know what Schefter is smoking there. The issue is that Dez is a head case and not good any more.
We absolutely have they money ready right now, we just wouldn't have money left for resigning our guys afterward

Was thinking the same thing. Little money left? They have plenty.

Probably a poor analogy on my part. Dez has the immature mindset of a spoiled 8 yr old and Carter has learned and matured into a very good person and man. Dez is simply a knucklehead and I'll be bummed if it's true that the Cards are even considering bring him in.
