Lol because the Butler and Fitz duo strikes fear in dbs hearts! No Need for a WR Butler to the Superbowl!

I think we can use this kind of production, even 75% of this kind of production! The issue would be his personality type, not his production. I bet Fitz and Bradford are both on the phone to MB and SK as we speak...

Come on, we signed Brice Butler and have Chad Williams who's also been waiting to unleash his talents on the NFL. I'm not sure Dez would want to come in as our WR4.

Edit: WR5. Forgot about JJ Nelson.

600 yards with spouting, angling for attention, not running good routes when you are not targeted, picking up fights with your team mates, coaches etc. etc. He is a headache that an Aspirin cannot control.

Just say NEZ to DEZ:

Too much drama for too little production.

Will want as much as Fitz.

Fitz is the man. Will he appreciate that here in AZ?

Stats have gone down hill the past few years. Can no longer separate from CBs. See his % catches vs. targets---he's down to 52% (by comparison, Fitz has been in the 70-to-high 60% last three years)

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BryaDe01.htm

Can find a comparable WR in the draft.

Just say YEZ TO DEZ:

On the other hand, will he play for a SK one-year prove it deal? LOL.

He could work with a healthy Bradford and uptempo short passing game.

I hate to say it, but we have to consider this heavily. We have nothing aside from Fitz, we cleared cap space and there's not much more out there... I know his attitude sucks, but if we want to even pretend we're trying to field a competitive team this year, this is the kind of move we need to make.

He's got the potential to dominate with Fitz getting most of the attention.

Dez can still create mismatches if the other team has to account for Fit, DJ and tight ends. No question.

No, we don't.

He's just a name at this point.

But, you're right. If "pretending" we are competitive is the goal, he's the guy.

People on here have bitch about our wr room, yet they don’t want a wr who’s not even 30 and have his career numbers. The last 2 years he’s had Dak Prescott as qb and are a run first team. I’d say bring him in and give him at least a 1 year prove it deal.

It's not really because of age though, it's because of that offense.

I know he's an cornholio, but we don't have a single guy on our roster besides Fitz who has had more than 600 yards in a season in his career.

Beggars should not be choosers. This team could really use his services while freeing up a draft pick for other needs.

We can agree to disagree. I don't think his attitude and actions make his services worth it.

But, it's a moot argument anyway, some other team will pay him more than the Cards would.
