No way we bring him in.

This guy will want big bucks for very little production.

In the last 3 years he has averaged:

5.5 TDs
675 yards

Not worth all of the problems that come with him.

It's not really because of age though, it's because of that offense.

I know he's an *******, but we don't have a single guy on our roster besides Fitz who has had more than 600 yards in a season in his career.

On the Dallas board there more than a few more upset about losing the Dallas guy we actually signed than losing DEZ.

This means that Dallas will be going after Calvin Ridley in the draft. May be willing to trade up with the Cards at 15.

Per scheffter and rapopport

before you think, Dez Bryant is awful at this stage of his career. Just say NO to Dez to be a cardinal

This, because the reality is Brice Butler is better than him now which should tell someone all they need to know about Dez

Dallas is in just as bad a spot at WR than we are, yet they cut Dez.

I concede he probably would have had better numbers in a different/better offense, but it only take a couple of poor attitude folks to ruin a locker room.

No thanks. Dez = Addition by Subtraction.

2 Cowboy castoffs? No thank you. Boys are desperate for WRs , yet they let these 2 go. Landry contract just set a conract $$$$$ bar for WRs that is ridiculous. Bryant wanted that money. He gone. He is the last of the "name WRs left from FA.

From PFT:

The Cowboys surely think it’s just business, nothing personal. Dez Bryant doesn’t see it that way.

“If I didn’t have my edge I got it now,” Bryant said on Twitter in the aftermath of his release. “I’m sorry they got to feel me it’s personal . . . it’s very personal.”

It will always the same with Dez. Never his fault

Apparently Dez told the media on his way out, "I'll see you guys twice a year". So, in his mind, he's staying in the East. Where? I've no idea.

NY or Philly I'd guess. If he wants to come on a 1 yr. prove it deal, ok.
There aren't enough balls in NY for him, ODB, and Brandon Marshall and I don't know if Philly could afford him or Washington for that matter.

We need what he can bring. Our Wr are embarrassingly awful.

OK, hear me out. Cris Carter turned his career around at age 28, Dez is 29 and is more accomplished than Cris was at that point. Put Dez in the right situation, maybe he can do that same and I think Fitz can do that for him.

Those two are not even in the same ballpark. Chris Carter had some of the best hands ever, precise route runner. Dez is basically a one trick pony who won off of beating people on raw talent and simply does not have the dedication or attention span to adapt now... Carter was a pro's pro and Dez is dezspicable when he does not get his way

Last year, yes, because of the confidence in leadership we had in the locker room with BA and Palmer. Today, it would be a little bit risky. Dez needs a solid locker room to keep him behaved.

Bryant has grown on me as a player, but agree he is more talent than skill, and the talent he needed has erroded

Cards are going to struggle next year regardless who isn’t at WR and I can’t see bringing in a guy like Dez being good for either side.
