I could NOT believe my eyes during last night's game. Did RoLopez bring his "A" game, or what?? Drew 0-5 is unacceptable, IMHO. Sure, this was quite the display against a high caliber team leading their division; however, we must remember that Burnett has been struggling, to say the least. Not to dampen a great win, but let's hope the bats stay mighty against Pettite tonight and that Haren brings his "A" game.

Certainly is a shame that it takes NYY to pack our own house - at least their visit is good for the local economy and makes for an exciting crowd! GOOOOO, DBACKS!

Wouldn't he and Daron Sutton be so much more interesting and not so irritating if they would stick to baseball chat and not incessant, nonsensical drivel????? Thank GOD the game was aired on ESPN last night. It made watching it so much more enjoyable! Another two who still have a job and no one seems to know why!!! The producers should be replaced as well. It seems that they are also contributing to making our team into a joke.

It's too bad ESPN doesn't have Tuesday night baseball and Wednesday night baseball as well.

What a pleasure it was watching ESPN announcers call the game and talk to the audience.

As opposed to the Two Crewcuts (as I posted on another thread) talk to each other, give the answers to the trivia tests and the surveys before we have a chance to guess or vote and impose their opinions upon us.

And how many times recently has Sutton lost track of the count and how many outs there were? Or not call a pitch? Or five in a row?

Sutton is the worst since Tim McCarver. Especially when he makes every sentence about himself.

Somebody should be reminding them that the game is not about them. It's about the action on the field. And they're getting paid to announce it.

I'm about ready to listen to Greg Schulte and Tom Candiotti on radio whenever I turn on the game on TV.

I am pretty sure saying even though the bullpen didnt come in I am still surprised they didnt blow it is complaining.

Actually I said I am surprised that that the bullpen did not blow it without coming it. It was a joke. Get it, the bullpen is so bad, they could still effect the outcome of a no hitter. So I was not complaining, I was joking.

By the way, was this thread to complain or to make a joke?

I made a joke after the bullpen blew a game, not after the team got its second no hitter EVER.

Well, if we never had to play on the road it wouldn't be a problem... This year, we are only better than Baltimore, Seattle & Pittsburgh on the road.... Pathetic!!!

I had high hopes for Jackson in the starting rotation and Gutierrez as our closer someday.

The way they both started with us were disappointments. It's good to see each of them coming around. They just look like athletes.
