Oh man, I keep missing these games because of school and the random times they're on, but that is GREAT to hear. Hopefully we find something with some of these new guys.

As far as the offensive style goes...it was an issue for years when we had average hitters attempting a home run with every at bat and we'd end up with three runs on a good day. I hated the lack of "small-ball" in the past. This season, however, we do have a strong, fairly-balanced line-up that can do this successfully. Certain players will cool down, but we are scoring an insane amount of runs with our two best batters struggling. It may not be everyone's favorite brand of baseball being in the NL, but there is no problem here. (Just throwing in my opinion because I'm feeling good so far with my Young prediction, though it is still VERY early to judge.)

The big "ifs" are of course Webb and the bullpen... those are the things that will make or break our season, while the offense I believe will keep us in the running for a playoff spot all year.

Here is the truly scary thing about this team, we have had all this offensive out-put without having Justin Upton and Mark Reynolds really doing anything. When they start getting hot and hitting like we are used to, then watch out. If we can get a few guys in the bullpen who can get outs then this team could be something special.

nice win for the dbacks over the cubs tonight loved the hitting, but this bullpen does tick me off a ton we should have atleast 2 or 4 more wins if we had a decent bulpen and closer.... But I agree with sportsfan once upton and reyonlds get going which hopefully is soon :) then watch out.

Nice win. Maybe the Diamondbacks should play more day games. LaRoche and Johnson have very good acquisitions along with Kennedy. Now let's hope Jackson can get it together and Webb comes back sometime in June.

I don't care that he only has pitched one inning but Stange has a zero era. Maybe he can help the bullpen. I guess time will tell.

This is incredible...we are going to have a record-breaking bullpen this season. woooooow

And I love how they easily put the next batter away after already giving up the game.

'Sort of tells us that they haven't been taught how to pitch under pressure.

From the top to the bottom of the bullpen. Or, more accurately, the bottom to the bottom.

What pisses me off is when they walk the first batter in the inning. Diamondbacks need to take tomorrow's game to get the split.

Diamondbacks lose to the Cubs for the third straight game 10-5. Jackson pitched another horrible game. The good news, the bullpen only gave up two runs.

Diamondbacks win 1-0 behind Kennedy. The bullpen gets the job done for two games in a row and Parra makes a spectacular catch to end the game. Upton hit a bomb to dead center in the 3rd inning for the only run of the game.

Thank God Kennedy has turned into something respectable! Can you imagine just how awful this would be if he too went the way of Jackson??

Awesome, I thought they might go the entire season without shutting out a team. I forgot how much umpiring can help out bad pitching.

What's funny is everyone was talking about how great Jackson was going to be and how he was going to help with the rotation, meanwhile Kennedy was never really brought into the conversation.

Gutierrez gets paid $4 million to walk the leadoff batter in the top of the 9th and then give up a walk-off home run to Lee. :bang:

Haren throws a complete game as the Diamondbacks take 3 of 4 from the Astros and finish the roadtrip at 6-5. Johnson hit another homer.

The Diamondbacks get swept by the Brewers and now lose the first game to LA. The bullpen once again could not keep it close as they give up 3 runs in the 9th inning.

Something has to be done now. I don't understand how Byrnes can sit there and do nothing. He won't fire Hinch because that would only mean he is admitting he chose the wrong guy to reolace Melvin.

Just bring up the pitchers from the minors because they can't do any worse than the current relievers. I heard Boyer and Howry could be the first two to go.

I can't take it anymore. The Diamondbacks make it a game and trail only 4-3 going to the top of the 8th and freaking Gutierrez gives up 3 runs. I am so sick of this and when the hell is Josh Byrnes going to get a clue that this bullpen he put together sucks?

They were talking on the radio today about how Hinch is not doing a good job and were amazed he was hired with no experience whatsoever. Right now this team is divided.

The attendance is going down and if this continues, the season will be over before June 1st. Thankfully the Suns are still playing.

Stange is horrible too...wow. I can't take watching this team anymore. I'm all about the Suns until hopefully mid-June.

This was probably my fault. I got off the bike at the gym and went to tell everyone about Haren's game after the third inning. :-/ Jinx.

Final score. LA wins 13-3. The bullpen has allowed 27 runs in the last 11 2/3rd innings.
