Well.... At least they won 2 in a row before this game. Didn't even think they'd ever do that the rest of the season.

Ugh 2 runs :( oh well

Hope the offense comes back in the next few games....

This team is so head scratching on the offense...

3 out of 4 and a series win would be nice. Should have scored a lot more runs this game.

Okay, not a huge deal, but those strikes the ump was calling in Lamb's final at bat were ridiculous. He gives a pitcher who has thrown four straight balls a borderline strike and then calls another a strike that's not even close?

Goldie big stats little results

I don't like how he holds the bat. It's almost pointed down behind his shoulder more than it used to. Maybe it generates more power on contact but the swing plane seems to take longer.

Any swing coaches on here?

Not one, but when I played baseball, I tried that and I noticed it took longer for me to make contact with the ball. I held my bat facing up diagonally and was able to hit the ball just fine.

The only guy I can think of who holds the bat level is Stanton but he's got insane wrist speed. Goldy likes to bend his knees but if he just held his bat straight up he'd look like Big Mac's stance.

Goldy has left 181 men on base. The league leader has 183.

I didn't realize Goldy's left on base performance is almost the worst in the league. But when he struck out on three pitches in that clutch situation (considering how good his stats have been since his slump), I realized that he is the best . . . on our small market team. Which is why he hasn't, and won't, finish on top in MVP balloting.

You guys must be the most fickle fans on earth. It wasn't more than two weeks ago that Goldy was single-handidly carrying the team. Now he's washed up...oh, and it must be because of the Bible studies. Is he perfect? No. Is the tone on this board right now justified? NO.

Last 22 at bat's for Blanco, he's struck out 12 times and has only 2 hits. Wow!

Ray is looking good. The offense needs to step here.

We're in the middle of a massive slump and our playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. You think things here are all sunshine and roses?

Why does this always happen. They get the lead then the pitching falls apart the next inning and they lose that lead they just got.

Now they haven't lost that lead just yet, but ray is making a case for it here.
