Mr. GIDP was Mr. Clutch tonight - Clayton showed patience along with some pop at the plate tonight; okay, so his getting picked off of first was a downer, but Royce provided solid offense & defense tonight. Webb ended up throwing 94 pitches over 8 innings, giving up 2 ER - if we could get numbers like that from Vasquez & Ortiz....

This team keeps getting clutch hit after clutch hit, and that's huge. This team needed to get off to a good start,and so far, they have. Let's get the sweep tomorrow!

"One" of the types of games we lost last year... along with blowouts and blown leads (less frequent since the team rarely got the lead). The Dbacks didn't discriminate on how they would lose LAST year.

2005 is an entirely different story
