Looks like Gonzo's whining has already paid off. After taking a bad angle to a line drive hit to left which allowed a runner to advance from first to third, Grace praises Gonzo for two-hopping a throw five feet wide of second base. Runner just scored on sac fly.

well, not to jinx it, but to this point Oswalt has had darn little - but - uh - guess that's why they call it a pitcher's duel. LOL

You know, I always liked Koppy - but I'm afraid he's shot. He hasn't looked decent in a long, long time.

Koplove was horrible tonight. He just killed any chance the Diamondbacks had. I wonder if Melvin has any faith in him anymore?

Got in late, also watching both the Suns and Diamondbacks. Valverde looked good. They just said Bruney is warming up. I'm wondering if something is wrong with Lyons.

Bruney gives up a homer and now Glaus has a throwing error that would of won the game. Two on and two outs, 7-6.

Glaus makes up for his error by snagging a line drive that would of won the game.

Diamondbacks win 6-1 as they take the series 2 games to one. Great pitching by Halsey and the bullpen. Those 3 runs in the first were big. Roger gets the lost.

Going into the series against Oswalt, Pettite, and Clemens I would have been happy with one win. Two out of three is a pleasant surprise. The RJ trade is looking more and more genius everyday (which is why I think Moorad and not Joe Jr. spearheaded the deal).
