Mets going with another tough lefty today. Damn we REALLY miss Walker, Marte and Moreno… especially against lefty pitching. Gonna be a tough battle today… just hope it’s not a repeat of Tuesday night!!

At full health, the Diamondbacks would have an above-average hitter at every position:
C Moreno, 105 OPS+
1B Walker, 125 OPS+
2B Marte, 156 OPS+
SS Perdomo, 107 OPS+
3B Suárez, 104 OPS+
LF Gurriel, 106 OPS+
CF McCarthy, 126 OPS+
RF Carroll, 101 OPS+
DH Pederson, 162 OPS+

It would be really nice if the DBacks could score a bit earlier in games so they aren't always coming from behind. They are facing the Mets' ace today, so there's that, lol.

The rule change that prevents a catcher from “blocking” home plate has made it very confusing for catchers…
It wasn't a blocking the plate issue last night though. He had the ball in plenty of time but lollygagged on the tag. It was a low effort play and that's what drives me nuts.
