Bringing Connor up really isn't a necessity right now. What we should do is go with the hot bat (Clark) until it cools down.

I agree with you about Conor, and also about keeping Clark in the starting lineup; I guess I'm thinking too much about last year's forced youth movement, although our '04 & '05 models are nothing like each other, which should preclude any rash decisions by the FO.

My concern is for how a transition from one position to another position seems to detract away from a player's offensive development.... I tend to believe that has been the case with Tracy this season, but am afraid that might also hinder Jackson's progress as well......

I do agree with starting Clark (and resting him at least once a week) and then they might pursue a 1B this next offseason as a FA.... It's just that Tracy will never have the power-production that is a necessity for a ML 1B.....
