Yea, because 1,120 yards with a 4.9 avg and 407 yards on 52 receptions in only 13 games is really bad. Also, 13 TDs is nothing to compare Wells and THT 15 TDs COMBINED.

As bad as the Cards have been over the last 50 years they never embarrassed their fans by losing FOURTEEN GAMES!

Seriously though, I never got the predictions that the 9ers would moonwalk their way through this division. They had a so-so QB, a very young offensive line, 1 WR to speak of and their defense, while improving, isn't what they were making them out to be. Not to mention that I predicted correctly that Singletary's act was going to wear thin. This is because people can't let go of the 49er glory years and couple that with an important cog in probably the most dominating defense in NFL history and to the so called experts this spells instant success. Um, not so much.
