It is bad. But we have to take the good with the bad. We are not going to play great every game. It is tough being a Cardinals' fan, but that makes our success that much sweeter.

I'm not asking them to play great every game.
However I do expect them to at least show up!
Is that to much to ask?

It's sure not any fun to be at the game that's for sure. Beer made things better for a while though.

This is why this teajm has not quite "turned to corner" and is NOT an elite or great team yet. Elite teams like Indy and NE don't lose games like this and even if they get caught off guard (Like Indy today) they find a way to come back and win.
This is exactly why the team gets no respect and people think they're a fluke, and the team is not giving them any reason NOT to think that way with embarassing showings like this one.

Well, they don't deserve respect and, until they prove different for a stretch of time, is by definition a fluke. Until our team can sustain a season without looking like absolute embarassments for long stretches of time, we will not deserve the respect and we won't really have arguments for smarmy announcers that disrespect us. We deserve every bit of criticism we get.

Cannot use elite and Cardinals in the same sentence... they have become good, better, but definitely not elite... Elite teams do not allow crap like this. This is unacceptable.

There are some losses that you can accept as a hard fought game and still come up short. This was a disgrace. A team that passes for 85 yards has a total of 13 first downs and still scores 34 points shows how pitiful the Cards were today. They should refund every dollar spent in the stadium today. They were awful.

Answers to my questions before the game:

  • Can the Cards handle success? Answer = no
  • Can the Cards demonstrate consistency? Answer = no
  • Will the Cards play down to their competition's level? Answer = yes
Pathetic display of football. So bad, I left at halftime. It just wasn't fun watching them at that time and I was going to yell obscenities around 6 year old kids.

Cards had a chance to take a commanding lead in the division and failed; while SF gave Indy a run for their money. My crystal ball has all of a sudden become fuzzy with this team.

Every week is a question mark with this team... which team is going to show up?

Great, great point.

I think CAR was underrated, and we played a bad game on top of that.

Bad Kurt showed up today, probably because their top ranked pass defense was more deserved than we thought.

probably the only bright spot today was our running game, which we promptly had to abandon.

Expect more of the same as last year, a roller coaster. This team & players are what they are, unpredictable. Thats reality. We should never get to high or too low.

Stupid Cardinals:mulli:

If we play hard and they play better and win, I don't have a problem. We are not going to win every game... I do have a problem when team put forth half ass effort and don't show up for the game.

They should change it from the Arizona Cardinals to the Bi-Polar Cardinals

Is that to much to ask?

You might ask the Giants the same question or the Packers?
