We have a right to second guess. If you think 2 pts. is valuable , for whatever reason, then you must not give a crap about giving a point away in the first quarter. It was wrong today, it's wrong yesterday and it will be wrong tomorrow. They would have been ahead 17-16 and would have been able to simply run out the clock.

You can’t assume Cincy would have played the same down a point vs being tied. The entire game would have been different. That said it was a stupid decision to not simply take the lead. A KK play if I ever saw one.

So important to get positive yards on first down. Even if it's just 2 or 3 yard it keeps you in the position to realistically be able to run on second down. I think and OC can live with 3rd and 4 or 5.

I disagree. Nothing happened that would have changed the scoring analytics for the Bengals. When they scored and made it 15-6 there is no reason they would go for two at that point.
