On National TV both basically said Cousins puts them over the top and that the Front Office needs to go after them. My guess is...all the players are pushing it. Cardinals I bet are trying to see how to get it done.

And people want to argue with me saying Cousins shouldn’t come here. Y’all judging from what he did in Washington, but that’s not a good way to judge just like the FO didn’t judge Warner in what he did in Ny. Get Cousins.

We don't have the money he would have to take less to come here

Browns players are talking him up too.
so are broncos players, and jets players.

the thing is... players want to win today. They dont care if it hurts the club in the long run... when the team starts sucking in a couple years because we had no cap space to fill holes,...those players will just move on to other teams.
Both DJ and PP have approximately the same shelf life that cousins has...around five years +/- 2 yrs
Drafting a rook QB gets us 10-15 years with that first 5 being seriously cost controlled.

Their support doesnt mean Cousins is going to be any better than a rook over the next five years... just that they are being selfish and dont want to risk a down season as the rook develops... its understandable from their position. But an intelligent man has to understand it is purely a selfish position...and I really hope an NFL GM would understand that too.

He makes the most sense for the Browns since they have a history of making bad decisions in the draft and failing to develop QB's.... but if John Elway wants him,... Elway is going to get him.

If asked, what else would they say?
They couldve said if we have the capspace we should go after the best QB in FA (which happens to be Cousins), if not then we should draft a qb

" Not my job and above my pay grade"

I guess I haven't listened to it so what do I know

But if im a player and someone says "what do you think about your team getting X quarterback" I would have a canned answer of "that would be awesome" no matter who it was.

I just hope that “if” & that’s a BIG if, the Cards try to sign Cousins just to lure Larry Legend into playing for them again. I hope that’s not the reason

I personally don’t like the thought of Cousins being our QB either. Something stinks here...I think he’s probably the only starting QB who threw for 4000 yards multiple times, not injured, in the prime of his career & under 30 and been let go to test free agency. Only one I can think of.

Smells like 45 day old Tuna to me! It just doesn’t seem right. The Skins franchise him for astronomical $$$ & then trade for another “older” QB lol

I’ll pass but thanks for your opinions PP & DJ

I'm more concerned with QB for the future than I am about what Fitz is doing. I think fitz comes back no matter who the QB is.

If he retires based on the QB choice, no big deal. I thank him for the years and we draft or sign someone else.
