I say we keep beefing up on defense and the o-line. Once you have these in place it would be much easier for us to bring in a QB and develop him. We keep thinking if we bring in a great QB he will completely change our team. We are not going to find another Kurt Warner!!!

The Cards haven't had very good luck drafting round 1 QB's. Kelly Stoufer, Leinart, and Pisarkiewicz come to mind. Was Rosenbach a supplemental 1st rounder? The Cards have no shot at Luck. Barkley has really come on lately. I'm not sold on Griffith 3. Tyler Wilson will probably stay another year and Landry Jones just doesn't do "it" for me.

If you're going to draft a QB you do that when the coach isn't in a hot seat year, Whiz is going to be in that year next year.

Rod Graves drafting a QB in the first round would be like nailing a notice on Whiz's door.

Actually, since Miami has decided to play some footblall now, the Cardinals are almost in the driver's seat for Luck. I'd think seriously about taking Barkley, though, at this point...he already looks like a better pro prospect than Leinart and Sanchez, and he's just sratching the surface of his talent...Not sold on Landry Jones.

The Cardinals will not be in the drivers seat for Luck anytime soon. Did you forget about that zero win Indy team full of no name UDFAs?

I personally think Robert Griffin will be better than Luck. He has the chance to be the next Aaron Rodgers while Luck will be Matt Ryan at be best IMO. I seriously do not see anything special in Luck that gives him all this hype.

The only way I'd take a QB is if Luck or Barkley were available. I've gone out of my way to watch both of these guys. I'm actually leaning towards Barkley being the better of the two right now. Otherwise, we go OL or Defense.

I'd bet a QB with some talent falls to the second or third round. I'd take a chance on a guy there if there's perceived value.

Can we draft a GM?
This...

...and this. If Luck is there, sure you take him but this team needs two OTs to protect the QB. IMO there is no position on this team that needs to be addressed more than OT. If we don't we will just ruin some promising QBs career.

It all depends on where we end up at the end of the season and what happens in free agency.

At this point, I can't see us passing on Kalil or Blackmon or a rush OLB for a QB. That being said, if Kalil & Blackmon are gone, I don't see the harm in adressing the QB position. Honestly, if I am Graves and those two are gone, I trade back and acquire multiple picks. That give syou the flexability of taking a RGIII later in the first or early 2nd while also still being able to upgrade the tackle/linebacker positions.

I'll say this, if we draft a QB I sure hope Whiz is gone. He's proven one thing to me beyond a shadow of a doubt: he's a QB killer.

We have invested picks and money into Kolb. He deserves at least one full offseason with the team to learn the O and get on the same page with his teammates.

No way we waste a high round draft pick on a QB next year.

No, we need to develop Kolb as the starter and build an offensive line that knows how to pass block especially our tackles.

If there is a good one available you bet we do or else we go into FA and draft a QB who has a proven record not a would be QB like Kolb. If we let Kolb go we will lose the 21 mil guaranteed money but that is better than keeping him and paying 62 million. Unless he has some sort of metamorphosis during our remaining games it is time to recognize our mistake if we ever hope to win again. At this point I would rate the Kolb deal as the worst deal in the Cards history. Oh how I wish I was a fan of some other team but I signed on for life.

Is there any team in the NFL that has 3 worse quarterbacks. Has any team ever played a worse offensive first half than we did on Sunday. The defense has no reason to hang their heads. They are improving. This team shows just how much a QB means to a team. He is the total difference between success and failure. Graves will of course survive another terrible year but the problem is not Graves it is as ever ownership.

Luck may not even be the best QB available. Some other QB's are appearing on the radar.

We said this last year with guys like Ponder and the guy Tennessee took. We ended up in the second round and the only guy left on the board was Mallett. :barf:

And we don't have a second round pick. :bang:

We don't have anyone to protect that passer. Do a quick search for pending 2012 FAs along the OL, and it's possible that Levi Brown will be the headline FA OT. I'd probably trade back for anything (an extra third) to get better value, but we're a long time before the draft comes along.
