Really? Lol :biglaugh:

Based on?

:yeahthat:

What you never have a conversation with yourself? :D

Reply was actually meant for you though.

You have to look at his entire body of work and his interviews at the combine/with the team to determine if it is worth it. I'll let them decide, but if it were up to me, there is no question I'd take him if he fell. To get arguably the best pass rusher in the draft at 24, you have to run to the podium.

It's a little ironic that the biggest knock on him is his inability to keep weight on his frame. With three failed drug tests for marijuana, shouldn't he be snacking a lot more? :D

KJ @redheadwonder6 Follow @joshweinfuss if Gregory falls, is he a no brainer pick at 24? #CardsMailbag
8:58 AM - 27 Mar 2015

@joshweinfuss: I think so. He's the perfect fit for what Arizona is looking for when it comes to its pass rush. And the Cardinals have proved they're open to taking someone with a history off-field drug issues as long as they feel comfortable that the issues are behind the player (i.e. Tyrann Mathieu). Getting Randy Gregory at 24th would be a feather in Steve Keim's hat - even though it would raise the question of why so many teams passed on him.

I'm gonna go out on a limb & say there's not a chances in hell the Cards would select Gregory at any point of the 1st round given what they just went thru with DWash & how pissed off they were with him.

no,u cant afford to add another player with that type of attitude, for exemple gordon could be the best wideout in the league but he is like a plague for his team

Yes, at #24 the rewards of Gregory far outweigh the risks. Just have a plan in place in case things go sideways.

According to Jurecki last week, Keim has a plan and it involves a pass rusher who is currently on another team but is expected to be designated a June 1 casualty. I didn't hear him drop a name though. Not sure who might be potential June 1 cuts or how they could impact the team. I still see the Cards drafting an edge rusher in rd 1 or 2 and another mid to late.

Hmmm...you can designate a player as a June 1st cut in March if you want to so I wonder why the team would wait. I had not heard that. I can't think of any player who would be an impact guy, but we will see.

Keim going with Rod Graves plan?????????

As for Gregory, like the post above, you take him and don't look back.

I heard MJ say that too and wondered who the player is. I also believe that an incentive deal for John Abraham is in the works if he passes concussion test protocols.

Robert Mathis? Yeah looking at the list none seem real likely. Perhaps Ahmad Brooks?

With the way Kelly has been cutting salary in Philly, I could see Connor Barwin being cut. Paul Kruger and Elvis Dumervil could also be cap casualties.

Indy has Robert Mathis, Erik Walden, Bjorn Werner, and just signed Trent Cole to a big contract. With the Colts having to work out an extension for Andrwe LUck soon, Walden or Mathis might be on the way out.

I texted scout friend today and asked if Gregory was worth it. His response was "very risky", which means stay away. Earlier when I asked him the same thing about Gurley, he said "yes, worth it".
