Twitter has allowed athletes to connect to fans in whole new ways, but Darnell Dockett may have made himself just a little too accessible.
The Cardinals defensive end took a shower live on the Internet, on UStream, after being dared to do it.
The prize was apparently $1,000.
Dockett tweeted Thursday: Ok so I just got a $1k = A stack BET that I wouldn't take a shower on ustream lol ok soo as soon as I see the money its On " NO MEN ALLOWED"
And then: UH OHHH MONEY IS IN HAND! LET ME SE UP USTREAM NOW! LOL I'm gonna play Cameo "candy" in the back ground whil n the shower! O_O
The video was not archived on Dockett's UStream account.
The Cardinals had this response to the situation: "The team is aware of it. We've spoken to Darnell, and it's being addressed."

No...if he gets suspended for this I will be pissed; we need him the first couple of weeks. Goddell has zero tolerance for players who embarrass the league and this certainly qualifies... It is funny on one hand and completely stupid in a professional manner on the other. Imagine what our employers would do if we showered live on the Internet.

I would have a problem if any under-aged people watched the video stream. Ustream isn't a pornographic site so i can see someone heading over there to see what's streaming and come up on this. Sure there is a big problem, I don't know of anyone "enjoying" life by exposing themselves for the enjoyment of others on the net. Well, I don't know of any sane people doing it for enjoyment of life without getting paid to do it.

Not only was he a moron for doing something as stupid as this, he was duped...Other people in the "biz" make more than a grand for this type of thing.

I wouldnt be OK with me getting robbed but I am not going to dwell on it if it hasnt happend. For all we know nothing will come of it. For all we know he didnt actually do it. Did you see the video? Do you know of anyone that did?

Easy dude. No I haven't seen it but Bickley and MJ on the radio said they were looking at screen shots from it and he was showing everything and they thought it was funny until they saw that and that he went too far.

I'm just saying, it's kindof funny when I first heard it but if it's true, it was a pretty dumb thing to do that's all I'm saying.

Terrible offseason for the NFL so far, the Big Ben thing, then Lawrence Taylor, then the Defensive rookie of the year gets busted for PDE's, and now Dockett pulls this.
