Have fun up there watching us in the playoffs #90
Ha. No kidding. Sounds like the exact deal Cards made, except the 2nd year

We'll get the same or better production from Ed Stinson & Frostee. Then just grab Ngata and we're all set at NT.

I can't agree with this. DD had a contact that was in place and Los didn't. The Cards had options as well and they exercised the right to cut him. Now one could argue that DD had to know he would never see the last year of that contract, but that something we'll never know.
Exactly why I follow the name on the front of the jersey instead of the one on the back. And why my authentic jersey has my nickname on the back "GRIZZ".
2013 signings:
Stanton-hit
Cason-contributor
Mendenhall- starter
Brinkley-miss
Alexander-miss
Powers-hit
Bell-contributor
Shaughnessy-hit
Rucker-hit
Dansby- big hit
Abraham- big hit
There's 9 of 11 that came in and played well, or at least were positive in their production. Yeremiah Bell started but wasn't great. Still, he did what he was supposed to do and that's what FA is about. He wasn't wasted money like some of the guys in the past.
2014
Carlson- Some would say miss, I lean toward hit since he started.
Veldheer- big hit
Dwyer- miss
Larsen- starter, hit
Ginn- miss
Cromartie- big hit
4 of 6 hits.
That's 13 of 17 that have been either very productive or solid contributors. That's a pretty nice record in my book. Really the only complete whiffs were Dwyer, which was self-induced, Brinkley, and Ginn.
