thug

DD is an unsportsmanlike thug, always has been. talented unsportsmanlike thug but still an unsportsman like thug none the less. I've been catching it for years but I say what I mean and mean what I say. straight up !

That was an elbow into Matt H's throat, before that He was a walking talking unsportsmanlike flag just waiting to happen.

fakes injury in camp just last year and everybody just ignores it cause He's talented. takes a shower on the internet and pleads stupidity.

promises whiz He'll do his talking on the field, you know right before He calls out Haynesworth and Shannahan like it's any of DD's business?

Says He'll play any scheme anywhere for 100 million $. DD's not a Cards fan, He'll sabatoge, incite team mates and division rivals with out prejudice.

He'll step right on our throats to grab a fistfull of dollars, make no mistake about it. He would enjoy that more than his 4 sacks in 08.

His career numbers are average and yet He thinks He's a GOD and most upport him. Its sad when Kurt and AW ride class to the ring of honor.

DD rides the Cardinal sins to the ring of dishonor, If He is the slightest of leader of men, He'll lead you right down the toilet. with pleasure and enthusiasm.

one fans opinion.

i hate twitter too.

He doesnt think what he types, sometimes it cool sometimes its dumb. Thing is i am sure he would say that about any team or player offerring him a car or whatever. He is just having a laugh but man it does my head in at times.

I thought this tweet from him the other day was interesting -

First off, I have no clue what "smh" means. Second, talks must not be going good if Mawae gave Dockett bad news.
Well, the fact that the owners are endorsing 18 game schedule should be a big sign of a looming lockout...Owners want more games and more of the pie...You cant have both IMO, SMH! :D

More games should equate to more money for players as well.

no

No not really, I like DD but don't like his behavior. He has charity, sense of humor, can act right when He wants to like sportscenter, DD doesn't want to. and iit hurts my Cardinals on several levels short term and long term.

He's the anti Jim Brown, watch this and this and see what I value in a player and a person. To each his own but I'm not going put my head in the sand and say I agree that he should be allowed to get away with constant BS that other players can't. Cause were numb to his BS.

Matts catching more hell for going 8-11 in the preseason under constant blitz.

Jim Brown interview. parents ought to be arrested!

The owners perspective is that they are not adding more games. They are taking away two pre-season games and converting them to regular season games.

Commissioner Goodell keeps insisting that they are not deviating from the "20 game schedule" that has been in place, just that two more games will count in the standings.

Of course, this is flawed logic, but we should be used to that from the NFL.

Same number of games. 20 games in a season. The players will get more money in pure dollars (likely when the TV contracts come up again), but the owners are still fighting for a smaller percentage of total revenue to go to the players.

Yes but players salaries are based off 16 regular season games. They don't get game checks or accrue games for accredited NFL seasons in pre season games.

And the owners know this, and they will gladly pay those extra game checks because the owners even after the extra payments will still make more money based off of -

1. There is more concession, parking, ticket, merchandise revenue at regular season games then preseason games.
2. They get paid more for airing regular season games then just the preseason games.

The owners will not fight the NFLPA on adding on extra pay to the players for this new 18 game season. The fight will come based on the issues other then money - injury insurance, retirement (hard season means players will play fewer seasons and accrue more injuries), how to pro rate current contracts to meet new schedule, bigger PS size, and the biggest will probably be offseason/training camp/OTA rules

Treefiddy's guide to making ASFN a better place:

1) Click "User CP" at the top left.
2) Click "Edit Ignore List" on the left.
3) Type an annoying poster's username into the box; hit "OK"

Was actually going to put a name in #3, but figured I shouldn't start a flame war.

Beat it, dude. If you don't like Dockett then don't view a thread about his tweets. Really that simple. None of us here want to read your assessment on what type of person Dockett is.

Not to mention that few of your posts make any sense at all.

yea

Yea He probably would pull wings off old fathers. and pour salt on them!

I like DD but his behavior is over the top constantly, like stealing Antonio Smith's hat and stomping it while Smith was hugging CC after the houston game on TV last week.

If mine would, he could support me in my old age, which is fast approaching

JMHO, but you seem to be taking this just a mite too seriously. I am not of DD's generation either, but I have grandchildren who are. Todays young people did not grow up in the same milieu as I did. While some basic values of civil behavior remain constant, they are really only expressing their own standard of behavior. Not unlike my generation did in the '60s.

Just because some might not like it, doesn't make it wrong.

I know I am wasting my time, but you know DD and Antonio Smith are still good friends, right? That leads me to believe that it was a joke...a joke that probably even Antonio Smith enjoyed because they are....friends.
