Ok I jumped on this train last year. Is it just me or is Chip lacking?

Segura should've gone to second base with that throw... Another poor/careless play on defense...

I dont even know what to say after a game like that.

Sloppy play all over the place, dumb coaching, zero offense, solid pitching wasted...

This team is better than this, what is going on in their heads right now?

Spot on.

I wounder if Chip who is off and on IMO has his team playing the same.

Chip didn't play defense like a bunch of little leaguers. Chip didn't score one run on the Dodgers worst starter.

I'm not sold either but this loss was not due to managerial moves.

Have I mentioned lately that Tomas is a ISSUE???:mad::bang:

How long do they wait? This guy isn't 19. Admit you screwed up and cut the guy loose. He really doesn't have a position and he has no power. He also seems to have very little interest in getting better. He got his big pay day.

Agree! Though, I'm sure they are hoping that he would show some type of life/improvement to maybe enable a trade... But even then they would clearly have to eat a huge amount of his salary... Sucks...

Brito needs to be in center and I'd really like to see Drury in right.

Questionable lineups.. And letting Rubby swing with 1 out yesterday was a bone headed move. Unless Rubby somehow missed a sign.. He hit into an inning ending double play

God yes. To lose a series to the Dodgers right now, given the injuries they have, is totally unacceptable and is cause for concern, I don't care how early it is.

On a more optimistic note; Ray looking pretty good through 2 but still throwing way too many balls.

He's thru 4 and has only thrown 53 pitches! That'll do!!
Also, I felt this way in spring training and and even more convinced now - Ray should've our #4 and Ruby, or someone else should've been the number 5...

Spoke too soon... High pitched count there in the 5th. Now at 73 thru 5. Gonna need to be sharper in the 6th!

Well that's an antiquated lineup construction though. One of the decent things having TLR has added to the org IMO.

I agree. I like how it's been setting up as it seems Ahmed been leading off an inning quite a bit. If he's 8th, he's seeing crap anyway. Need to be smarter than Drury getting caught stealing at third though (last night), leaving De LaRosa to lead off the next inning.

Ugggh... Chip could've left Ray in the game... Dammit! Delgado is the weakest link in our pen...
