It's just so awesome beating LA!!!

Yet, now 8 games in and still no W for a starting pitcher... Though, Corbin was SOLID today.

So many people on Twitter are saying they don't like the grey uniforms. I love these. I think they look sweet

I thought they looked a little ugly. But I like having new ones every game.

I can't believe Williams waived him around. Matty is a horrible 3rd base coach.
We should be so lucky that Tomás would be waived. :)

If Drury isn't going to be given a chance to provide power at 3B, give him a shot in LF.

But I guess there is pressure on the field from the Front Office to justify the $7.5 million they are paying Tomás. Steve and BB today talked about how he hustled on one play, something he didn't do last season.

Here is a roster listing showing contracts. It is interesting. Grienke is the only D-back with a larger contract than Tomás.

BTW, I saw when Wellington Castillo was waved around third and was an easy out. Did Matty do the same thing with Yasmany?

For what it's worth, Bob Brenley said that when you're behind, and playing as poorly as the D-backs had been, you have to take chances. After thinking about it, I agree with him. It was more than about a slow runner. It was about having a winner's mentality. "Make something happen." And the bottom line was that we played a good game and won.

My mistake, it was Wellington.

But I disagree with Bob. Yeah, you do need to take chances, but that situation was not "taking a chance", it was arguably our slowest player going from 1st to home vs arguably the best OF arm in baseball. Williams needs to be more situationally aware. He seems to pay little heed to who it is on the bases, he sends slow guys who get thrown out by 20 feet, he holds up fast guys who seem like it would take an amazing play to gun them down. He's awful down there.

Lots of criticism, but then you have those same morons praising the All-Star festivity uniforms that San Diego is going to roll out.

Fantastically Retro? Are they kidding? Are they so steeped in their "purist" ways that they deride AZ for blazing new ground while SD gets praised for rolling this crap out?

Wow, those stink! Oscar Myer called, they want their colors back

Ahmed batting 9th is idiotic. Someone needs to tell Hale the king has no clothes.

Well if not for the two E it's still 1-1. I feel bad for Del Al Rosa. Good game for him IMO.

De La Rosa unable to get out of the 5th... He looked a little better, but still not worth of being our #4...

Another hit batter... Clearly not intentional by Barrett but it's the third hit batter by the Dbacks tonight... And now Hale and the Dodger bench are going at it! Incredible...
