Upon further reflection, that had to be the most pathetic display I have ever seen in a football game.

Even Jackie Smith was like, "WTF dude!"

Was the pass too high? Worse than falling down would have been if he was THAT open and the ball was too high.

He never needed to turn around and start backing up. If he just ran the route like normal he could've just slowed down a bit and caught it easily.

I'm angry with him, but I also feel bad for him.

Nope... very catchable. The ball dropped at the middle of end zone and could have been easily caught had he ran his proper route instead of tripping on himself.

Such an incredibly frustrating way to blow the comeback. Ridiculous.

That pass was right on the money if Doucet possessed the motor skills associated with being a wide receiver playing in the NFL on that particular play.

Why he cut his route short of endzon is pure stupidity, if you are that wide you continue into paydirt...

We definitely made it on this weeks up coming "C'MON MAN!".. This tops PP's offside timeout.

I feel bad for him, notice how our WRs were jumping and expecting the worse high throw every pass Skelton threw. If we had a offense early on with Skelton, it would have never come to that. I was ticked at Early but now after taking it all in, it came down to Skelton early on on why we lost

Call me supersticious but I have very little patience for hard luck players who drop passes in tight coverage or who fall victim of the Turf Monster at crunch time.

Sure I feel bad for the guy, but let him continue to be "unlucky" on some other team.

Compare the number of times Cincy players delivered in key situations vs. the number of times Cardinal players made tough plays - and there's your margin of victory.

Regarding Skelton, it certainly wasn't his shining hour, but the inability of his pass blockers to give him ample time throw didn't help any either.

Cinci did everything in their power to lose that game in the 4th quarter (especially Cedric Benson), our guys just found a way to one up them.

Very frustating but I won't blame the loss on Early. Still like him.

I won't blame loss on him. But will blame him for not tying and sending to OT.

It's hilarious that Doucet's twitter name is AZPlaymaka80!.. Are you freaking kidding me!!! He has been bailed out of the last two games because of drops my 7 year old could make... He needs to carry his arse!!... To many other options for another 3 or 4th receiver...

That was a bad break but the Turkey today was John Skelton we win that game easily if he's even marginal.

Cincy misses 2 fg's gift wraps us 2 fumbles and we still lose because of Skelton

If the defender who was supposed to be covering him hadn't made a game-blowing mistake in allowing him to be that open then he wouldn't have had his opportunity to make a game-blowing mistake of his own. Sucks that it happened but it's not like he's the only player to do something like this. I think the play by the Giants WR last week was even worse than this one.

Of course, my calm reaction to this is probably helped by the fact that Detroit's win made this game irrelevant.

I just don't get the hatred for Doucet when Skelton was so much worse. Yes it was a crucial play and he fell down but that's just a slip, he didn't drop the ball or clearly choke, he fell down.

Skelton threw 3 picks and had at least 2 more dropped. He had the crucial fumble that essentially cost us going to OT because we had to kick the FG. He wasted valuable time on that one drive by underthrowing an open Roberts and an open Fitz. He put us in a huge hole in this game.

If you want to fixate on one guy for this game I don't get picking Doucet when Skelton was such an obvious goat?

If the offense has shown up to the game in the first three quarters it wouldn't have mattered.
