We had something to do about that. After the Suns worked him out, Amare developed a mysterious shoulder injury and quit working out for others. That's when the rumor rose that we had given him a guarantee--which we do doubt had done (we did it for Jacobsen too, regrettably, seeing Prince was on the board, but the C's kept their word).
