That's usually a big deal at this level. It's the reason I'm interested in Fredette although his bust potential worries me. He's a great shooter and he's much better at a lot of other things than people credit him for being but I doubt that he will be there when we pick and he's too much of a gamble to pay a premium to get him.

As for Faried, I love the fact that even though he's an intense player, he's almost always smiling. I was hoping he'd go pro last year because he might have been available for a 2nd round pick. I think he's had enough big games since then though to be almost a first round lock. I wish Billy Donovan had kept his big mouth shut after Faried had his way against his team earlier this season. Someone might even take a flyer on this guy in the teens.

Steve

Yep. I like Fredette for the same reason. He can shoot the ball, he gets the ball off in traffic, he's the leading scorer in the nation and he is double and triple teamed every time he steps on the court. I know he is not much of a distributor, but a player that is teachable and has his skills and intelligence should be able to do that easily. His defense is horrible.

Fredette is to hoops what Cam Newton is to football. I have a hunch they will both have long, quite productive careers at the next level.

I am just not sure Faried. He could play like Dennis Rodman, or end up like Bo Outlaw. Amazing how similar players can have such different careers.

Yep. I keep watching highlights of Faried and he is a guy I definitely want in this draft. He has incredible athleticism--Shawn Marion/Hakim Warrick type athleticism. He is a team leader, he is mature, and he has a knack for rebounding.

He could eventually replace Grant Hill at the 3. I would be very happy to come out of this draft with Faried and Fredette.
