Drew Brees on the block?

I was at Fanhome when I saw that headline on the top of the page. I don't have a subscription to it, and was wondering if anybody else has heard of this. They very well could decide to take Manning if this is true. I thought this was unlikely since it appears Schottenheimer has to win next season in order to keep his job in SD.

I'm pirating this from another board, but someone posted this 1-line blurb from Fox Sports:

"Chargers trying to trade Brees? Two teams have reported that the Chargers have spoken to them about possibly trading for quarterback Drew Brees."

Man, I've just about had it with this organization!! Granted, I'm a Chargers fan first, but I'm also a Brees fan. I will NOT be happy with this move if it transpires. Hell, I'm not even happy that it's being discussed. I hope this is just a bad rumor, because I'm not sure I can handle the hiring of Marty's brother & the trading/releasing of Drew Brees all in 1 year.
