Long overdue... But to win the NL West it was up to him to come up big, and over the past two weeks, Drew has been our best hitter. Its about time Drew!

He just made a great defensive play to throw out Helton, I'm glad he's finally waking up...anybody, anytime, and it finally seems to be Stephen Drew's time.

How did he drive in 60 runs this year? That seems pretty good.

Drew has had too much plate discipline over the last couple of months not to be able to turn it around. If you looked at some of his 'outs', many were well struck balls - but straight into the gloves of defenders. I didn't think he would come around until next year... glad it came early. His defense continues to be solid.

But let's talk about Eric Byrnes... yikes...

When I saw that, my first thought was, "How many players in history has had that low an average (.238) with that many RBIs?"

I think Joe Carter used to do that, but it doesn't seem to happen very often.

Yeah Byrnes has really sucked the last month... he is a shadow of himself both fielding and at the plate.

Atleast thats what I choose to believe....

So, since this is the "second season" Byrnes should be great again, right? At least until halfway through the playoffs? :)
