Not really 8 years younger

Bingo.

He is basically being paid the same as Dockett (or a little less this year) and
showed well last year after his own big injury. Its hard to say if Dockett at 34 will be able to do the same.

Hard to say, we don't even know what defense we're running yet this year... Has anyone said? May not even be a 3-4, who knows.
The D will be the same as it was. Arians has said that was one of the main reasons for hiring Bettcher.

DT -- Corey Peters, Falcons: This 305-pound player will turn 27 in June. He has seven sacks the past two seasons and is also solid against the run. He started slowly last season after coming back from a torn Achilles, but played well late.

Dan Williams - Williams isn't the pass rusher Suh is, but he's the ideal nose tackle for the Lions' 4-3 front. He ranked eighth among defensive tackles against the run last year according to Pro Football Focus, and at 27 still has several prime years ahead of him after making nine starts for the Arizona Cardinals last year.

Corey Peters - Peters is probably best suited for the nose, and would be an ideal fallback option if Williams doesn't pan out or costs too much. He's 26 years old and more than a year removed from the torn Achilles tendon that ended his 2013 season. Peters has 11 career sacks and played mostly as a reserve for the Atlanta Falcons last year.

According to Aaron Wilson, the deal will be three years, worth $10.5 million, more than half of which will be guaranteed.

On the surface, it looks like he could be used to replace Dan Williams, who is expected to land with another team as a free agent; however, having played in a 4-3 defense in Atlanta, perhaps he will also play where Darnell Dockett did as a left defensive end or "defensive tackle" as the team calls it.

Pro Football Focus graded him positively in run defense and negatively in rushing the passer in 2013 and 2014.

Peters was a full-time starter in 2013, starting in all 15 games he played in. He had career highs in tackles with 46 and sacks with five. This is another move that came out of nowhere but apparently Peters has told people he is moving to Arizona.

You’ll have to pardon me if I am stunned by the move even though Peters is coming off a less productive season but this is something we rarely see in Arizona. You have a team that has a little bit of money to spend and they are spending it wisely so far in my estimation. They are taking care of needs on the defensive line, offensive line, and linebacker. It should be interesting to see what the Cardinals do with running back because you can be sure they are addressing that somehow.

More than half the contract is guaranteed, per a source.

Peters is best friends with linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, another Falcons free agent who’s joining the Cardinals.

Peters arguably out-performed both the Falcons free agent pickups last season in nose tackle Paul Soliai (five-years, $33 million) and defensive end Tyson Jackson (five-years $25 million) last season.

Peters, who was coming off Achilles surgery, played for $1.6 million last season.

The Falcons also drafted defensive end RaShede Hagemen in the second round last season.

He did, but he's also 34. Cards are going young and previously Achilles injured.

:)
Lol @ previously injured. There's something to be said about that though. Mofos try their asses off after injury to stay relevant.

Not a fan of the way the Falcons stopped the run... but one cannot do it all, and I honestly think the Cardinals are about to take the two best defensive players the Falcons had lol

Interesting... not familiar with him. But not over priced and still in his prime.

Taking care of some need positions quickly and seems with quality.

I'm in love with Keim.
