I don't think that is true. We had the best boy scout ever in Kurt Warner and he was pretty good. I'd take a team full of guys like him because their performance on the field would have nothing to do with a mean streak that existed off the field.

I want to watch a sport where I don`t have to worry about if the star RB or QB will be available to play or if he is sitting in jail for beating up his wife or girlfriend or being passed out drunk at a intersection at 3 in the morning.I want a sport where the daily nfl news doesn`t start out with a freaking crime report.There are plenty of responsible players who don`t get in the news for acting like morons.

I don't get this sentiment. Don't beat your wife/gf/so, don't abuse your kids, don't drive drunk, etc. It's not a very high bar to clear.
