I know that teams change very quickly from year to year and so none of this really matters, but I thought it was interesting. If you take last years records for every team this is how the statistics stack up.

Arizona Cardinals 2003 Schedule

Total Win/Loss for Opponents – 139/117
Number of games played against playoff teams – 8
Number of games played against teams with .500 or better records – 10

Arizona Cardinals 2004 Schedule

Total Win/Loss for Opponents – 132/124
Number of games played against playoff teams – 6
Number of games played against teams with .500 or better records – 8

So if you look at it this way we have an easier schedule this year.

I remember a couple of years back 2001 or 2002 I believe we had coming in...the 1st-3rd easiest schedule in the league, and by the end of the season if you combine their records it was the 1st-3rd hardest schedule.

I remember because I was like, alright an easy schedule, that'll help us....and going thru the year I was like, we were supposed to have an easy schedule but this team is 6-1 or this team is 7-3, et cetera and they both sucked last year.

You never really know.
