I'm happy the Cards' won, but it sucks really bad to see a player hurt so seriously during the game. I really hope he is ok and has a speedy recovery. That injury looked really bad, and hopefully he is able to get well and return to football. Such a shame to see a great player (or any player for that matter) get hurt like that.

His leg looked like Joe Theisman"s leg when he got hurt. It went flying outward at some crazy angle that did not seem natural. Hope he has a successful recovery.

I can still see the play in my head. That was bad. Hope the best for him.
That honestly didn't look much worse than when Theismann broke his leg. I cringe at the pain EJ Henderson must be feeling right now. It was nice his brother is on the Vikings and was able to be there with him. The fact that NBC only showed it once was pretty telling as well.

I am glad I did not watch the replay. Hope he will make a full recovery.

I'm with you JG-----I don't ever want to see that again. I hope it isn't career ending for him. God bless and care for him and his family. Our prayers are with him here in my family.

Gruesome, gruesome injury!!! Reminded me of the Tim Krumrie's leg injury in the Super Bowl. I'm sure his leg was broken in several places. Gives me shivers thinking about it.

It sounded horrific (didnt/couldnt watch the replay). Hope the guy makes a full recovery.

Also, if anyone is tempted to post a pic of the injury or anything (if there's one out there), please do me/us a favor and put it behind a spoiler or something. I'd really appreciate it! :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if Henderson's career isn't already over, he definitely will not play for a minimum of 2-3 years. They will have to put rods in there and he likely wont walk for 12-18 months.

Man. I hope that is absolute worst case scenario. I couldn't tell if it was his knee or his femur that just gave out. I couldn't imagine how that must have felt.

I am not sure what the better one to mess up would be. I do know that my son snapped his femur last year and was lucky enough to be treated by the best pediatric orthopedist in the world. The Doc said that his age (3 at the time) was his saving grace. Had it been me he said, I would not have been walking again for 18 months. Kids are amazing though, and my little warrior was running again in a month.

Either which way was it's not good for EJ. Think Joe Theisman or former Clippers' point guard Sean(I think that was his first name) Livingston.

I was at the game and couldn't tell what the injury was specifically, but I knew it was pretty serious judging by how the medical staff reacted. The emergency carts were out there immediately.

Hope he gets better!

Jesus. That's horrible. Good to hear your son is coming along well. The thought of breaking a femur is very disturbing. that's a thick ass bone...

A broken leg is one thing.. but I would be shocked if at least 2 of his ligaments weren't completely destroyed.

Yeah, that was nasty. I hope he recovers well, but I can't imagine him playing again. For those with morbid curiosity...

Awful injury.. I missed it the first time.. But that replay is nowhere close to Theisman replay.. I hope he gets well soon though.. Just from what I heard it sounded crazy.. The replay, at least wasnt as bad as I expected.. Now that Ive seen it..

The injury was just as bad as Theismans', it just didn't apear to break the skin.

EJ's injury may turn out to be worse than Theismans'. Theisman's leg broke skin because there was no muscle or fat surrounding the break. EJ's quad helped keep his bone in his leg, but was also probably severely torn up in the process.

I meant it wasnt as bad as Theismans on the tv replay.. The leg went behind his body.. Thats all I was trying to say..
