This morning, I was studying the ESPN’s Matchup Predictor for the remaining NFC West schedules. ESPN is predicting Cardinals and 49ers will finish the season at 10-7, Rams at 9-8 and Seahawks at 4-12. While I’m pleased with the projections, there’s a bit of skepticism on my part. Both Seahawks and 49ers are predicted to lose to the Jets, and after last night, I’m doubting the Jets will win another game. And they predict Seattle will lose out, which is hard to believe. According to ESPN, Cards are expected to beat Seattle twice, and defeat the Patriots and Panthers for 4 wins. They’re expecting we’ll lose to Vikings, Rams and 49ers for 3 loses. That’d put us at 10-7 and tied with Seattle atop the division. Rams would be 9-8, if the predictions hold. At the beginning of the season, I did not believe Cardinals would come close to 10 wins. How do others feel about ESPN’s projections? On target, off?
