It's on my list.

I like movies that portray life in LA. I also like a lot of location exterior shots so I can say things like, "Sixth Street bridge over the LA River". Looks like this one will have a good story too.

Fantastic movie! Very realistic in many areas! The acting was top notch. Emotional, funny and great action!

Some of you probably wont like the jumpy camera action but for this movie it fit perfectly and gave it a better sense of realism!

Will be seeing it in Theater again and will be a Blu-Ray purchase!

I don't care if it's Godfather: The Next Generation, I am never going to knowingly watch another movie that so heavily relies upon the shaky camera. My opinion, if you need realism, go live life. I want to watch a *** ****** movie, I don't need no stinking headache. If you people keep paying to see this, they'll keep doing it. I'm drawing a line in the sand.

I loved it... GREAT movie on a lot of fronts, hands down the best Cop movie I can remember since Training Day and I can argue I enjoyed End of Watch more...

I will repeat again.. a HUGELY entertaining movie!

Good movie for the most part. However the shaky camera scenes are not my thing though. Plus the whole everyone filming themselves thing was kind of silly and I think backfired on the director. Also I thought the ending was kind of weak and predictable.

With that said I thought the acting was really good.

I'm interested in your qualifications to make an assessment in what constitutes "very realistic". I'm not ripping you but unless you worked or work in law enforcement, you can't consider what is and isn't realistic.

16 years in law enforcement with the LVMPD. 5 years in a patrol capacity in a very low income/project housing areas very similar to what you see in the movie. And still employed as a LEO for the LVMPD.

Got ya beat. 12 years of NYPD Blue, 7 years of Hill Street Blues and 8 seasons of Barney Miller. Let me know if you ever need any real insight into law enforcement.
