Mike Jurecki, of XTRA 910 in Arizona, reports Arizona Cardinals TE Eric Edwards (pectoral) had an MRI, which showed a partial tear of his pectoral muscle.

Both were going to be ahead of Edwards on the depth chart anyways once camp ended, thats if both werent already ahead of Edwards when camp started. This just speeds up the process giving them more practice time.

Adam Bergen was going to be our starter by opening day I think. Edwards had all of 5 catches experience - it isn't like we are suddenly losing a real vet.

Damn we need at least 3 TEs on the roster for double TE sets. Maybe we can use a fullback.

I do think this will help the chances of someone like Hodges. As some have suggested...he can catch and would add a nice dynamic in 2 TE set.

We got a 3rd TE and you dont need a stud for a 3rd string TE.

Aaron Golliday - Keith Rowens project from KC last year.
