Those big time recruits really helped out Mack Brown didn't they? I'll take Charlie Strong's tough kids and Big 12 titles while a&m continues to finish in 4th place in their division just like they did in the Big12.

Biggest stage in football? Hah! A middle of the pack Big 12 team just won the SEC East. When was the last time Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Mississippi, Mississippi State, or Arkansas, were relevant in the SEC? 1960? BYU is better than any of those weak sisters.

Charlie is 4-1 vs the SEC as a HC. UT hammered ou last year. Face it the ags got tired of getting their rears kicked by the Horns and ran away to another conference where they could play those other weak sisters along with Sam Houston State or UTEP. And they still can't finish better than 4th in their division.

You can claim your biggest stage, we'll keep our NCAA biggest bank account.

I keep thinking that Carson has a great shot of making the team. He's not spectacular, but you know that he is fundamentally sound and steady as a rock.

We've been picking up linebackers recently. We probably saw one of them on the field and decided he had more to bring with upside then Sims.

Either way I'm glad we have a front office that will make decisions and continually try to bring in guys rather then one that moves at a snail's pace and 'hoping for the best' seemed like a valid strategy to them.
