Yes, and all this resulted his team getting 7 wins in 57 games.

and clearly if they had Markieff Morris who shoots 40% overall and can barely get up high enough to dunk it at 6'9 and has no single game performances that can measure up to those flashes of brilliance by Kemba would have won them more games?

come on man. First of all, does he have "below-average size" (from your earlier post) at 6'9" 240 pounds? And I'll give you that he is an average athlete at power forward, but you make him sound like Chris Dudley. It's ridiculous.

Yes because he is not just 6'9, he has short arms for a PF. Amare Stoudemire was not exactly big but he had a full inch on him in height, 4 inches in wingspan and even more vertical.

He is more like Jared Dudley in that regard, I think Markieffs ceiling is to be a productive bench player. If he is starting for a team you are probably not going to be very good or forever searching for an improvement at the 4.

Tristan Thompson is 2 years younger than Markieff, much more athletic and the numbers are similar. Markieff is a better passer and shooter, Thompson a better rebounder and defender.
Age and athleticism most teams would chose Thompson long term certainly.

Yes, Thompson is younger and more athletic than Morris, although not by much, IMO.

Morris is not only a better shooter and passer but is also better in everything else regarding offense including driving to the basket and post-up play.

It's interesting to see that Markieff Morris has joined to your most hated NBA players very next to Eric Gordon.

At the time they were drafted Amare Stoudemire was 0.75" taller than Morris and more importantly his standing reach was 2" greater (standing reach is really the best measurement of a player's height). However, I would not say that Amare Stoudemire is an average sized NBA power forward. He has prototypical size for a starting power forward. He may even be an average sized starting power forward in the NBA (when he actually plays), but there has to be at least two non-starting PF's for every starter. Morris is not a starter. I don't think he was drafted to be a starter. I don't think anybody on the Phoenix Suns thought they were swinging for the fences when they drafted him. I would say Morris' ceiling is to be a very good big man off the bench and spot starter in the NBA. I think that's what the Phoenix Suns were shooting for when they took him #13 in a horrible draft.

When you say Markieff Morris has below average size and athleticism I assume you are talking about all the other power forwards in the NBA. For some reason you believe Amare Stoudemire is the average. If that's how we are defining average then yes, Morris is below average.

And Marcin Gortat ;)

Did you forget how he's been wanting Gortat to be traded ever since Gortat came over in that trade with Orlando? :D
