The 13th is when OSU has their pro day and Chris Wells will be back to where he belongs,at the top of the RB class. He's going to run in the 4.4's and display a good set of hands catching the ball. He's going to participate in the WR drill as well to show off his pass catching ability. OSU coaches have been very impressed with him in theses drills. He is the best back in the draft. Power, speed, and vision and you never see him get knocked backwards. He needs to be in Cardinal red next year,it's possible if teams are dumb enough to be like Mayock and put the likes of Brown and McCoy ahead of him, and is the best back since AP. Rememeber he played this year with a boot on 1 foot and still dominated. Watch and salivate at the thought of him in Arizona.

Dude, I am hoping for a 4.6. That way we might have a shot.

That stiff arm video might be one of the best compilations I have ever seen. Nice.

Isn't the main knock on Wells that he has injury problems though?

Same with Adrian Peterson. He obviously isn't on AP's level, but if the main concerns are injury, and he hasn't had major injuries, then you take a chance.

Agreed. I'm still of the camp that Beanie is soft. That isn't to say that he isn't talented.

Moreno is still the better back.

Not gonna change my mind.

Wells is a good runner, but watch the stiff arm video. What I see over and over is what drives defensive coaches insane.....defenders tackling high at the shoulder pads. It doesn't work at Pop Warner, high school or college.

Wells bounces outside too much.

"Wells bounces outside to much" That's a good thing if you ask me not to many holes up the middle around here.

Ohio St. is a fast track making every time suspect. Wells is injury prone and soft, in my eyes. He's often left makable yards on the field by not finishing off runs.

Huge talent, no doubt. He seems to lack Peterson's passion and drive.

I really don't care for how he carries the ball out in the open. He's going to have to fix that.

He had that problem his Freshman year, he has only had a couple fumbles since then though. And for the poster saying Beanie is soft, he played all of his sophomore year with a bum ankle and bone chips in his wrist. Injury prone? Possibly. Soft? definitely not.

I know that OSU was certainly not the same team w/o him the first half of the year. They struggled a lot.

His injury history has to be of major concern to teams.

Chris Johnson and Steve Slaton might have something to say about that
talk about being completely wrong on someone,i would've avoided Slaton at all costs last year . At least i was right about Hart from Michigan :).
