Hi everyone,
For those of you that do not know me, I am the Producer for the Arizona Cardinals Radio Network. I have never posted in the D-Backs forum but I thought I would for this cause.
My former college baseball coach, Steve Baniewicz, is the new Head Coach at Seton Catholic High School in Chandler. He is hosting a series of camps for kids ages 8-18 in late November and December.
I personally thrived under his direction both at the plate and defensively as well. Coach Baniewicz preaches the importance of knowing the strategy and fundementals of the game of baseball. He is well prepared and runs very structured camps to maximize the learning of each student.
Seton Catholic is located at 1150 N. Dobson Road in Chandler just north of Ray Road. It is known as one of the better High School baseball facilities in the State. It is also home of the 2003 Class 3A Baseball Champions.

Seton’s baseball program will get an early opportunity to start scouting for and training their young talent. Starting in November, Seton, under head baseball coach Steve Baniewicz, will host a series of baseball camps that will focus on the development of the basic, yet crucial fundamentals necessary for developing an all-star athlete.
The first camp is November 28th and 29th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This camp will focus on “stuff that needs to be taught at a young age,” according Coach Baniewicz. The cost for this camp is $50.
The second will be two three-day camps. The first of the two will be December 20-22 in two sessions, 9:30-11:30 for ages 8-13, 12:00-2:00 for high school kids. The main focus of this camp will be pitching and defense. The second camp, December 29-31, at the same times, will mainly focus on hitting. The cost is $75 per camp, or $130 for both camps.
All camps are at Seton Catholic High School in Chandler. Participants need to bring their own bats, gloves, and helmets, and wear proper baseball attire.
For more information or to sign up, please call Coach Steve Baniewicz @ 480-963-1900 ext. 2040.
Tell him that I sent you!
Thanks,
Jim Omohundro
