Vanden Bosch was nothing special with his first team either and became a menace later. Dion has talent, if the hawks can hone that talent, he can be a problem. I'm not going to assume that a top drafted pass rusher will always suck no matter where he plays.

When KVB was on the field he played well. It was his injury history that was problematic. Dion has simply stunk.

Has been oft-injured the past two years (missing 14 games). Played only 4 games (groin) in 2015. Played in 14 games in 2016 (69 tackles, 12 PD, 2 ints).

With his brother in NE and BB being such a Rutgers fan, it would likely mean he'll rebound in NE.

Both McCourty brothers were solid DB's. I don't know the extent that age and injuries have taken their toll, but I do remember both as being solid, smart and physical players who played faster than expected.

If healthy and up to it physically, by all means we should bring him in.

Jerraud Powers announces retirement

Powers was a third round selection of the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 and played four seasons with the team. He spent the next three years with the Arizona Cardinals before playing last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

Powers appeared in 100 games over his eight seasons in the NFL and started 88 games over that span. He recorded 13 total interceptions with a career-high three coming in 2014 with the Cardinals. He also had three sacks, 74 passes defended and three forced fumbles in his career.
