Truth, and will probably be 7-9 8-8 at the end of the day. There D is really good but have to many issues to be a Division winner...even in our crap division.

Disagree. Their schedule really doesn't get much easier for a while. They still have to play Atlanta, Philly, GB, SD (who has been a slow starting team since Turner got there), Denver, and 5 division games which are always tough.

I do agree they have a tougher schedule going forward...but they are better than us and we need to look in the mirror. They probably get 7 wins out of that. Probably 2 against us unless they give up all together. They played tough teams tough. We played weak teams crappy.

We'll see. They played good against the Saints, but have otherwise looked abysmal. Even in that Saints game their offense was still abysmal. I know one thing. Our two games against them this year are going to be UGLY, for both teams. Game will be won on flukey plays. Assuming it's DA vs Smith at QB. If the teams are smart enough to make changes by then, who knows what will happen.

I don't think they get both games against us. I also don't think they are better than us overall. Certainly our coaching staff is much better. Also, they are already in the process of giving up. We will see how the team responds this week in Atlanta to the OC change but last week it was pretty obvious at least some of the players were putting in half ass effort.

BTW, I don't think they would have been 2-1 based on their road performances so far. Probably, 1-2.

I am not sure you can automatically pencil in a win for the 49ers vs the Raiders at home

In 2/3 games, they were completely outmatched. In the other game, they had their hearts crushed. I don't care about hypotheticals. Their season is done. If Singletary hasn't lost the team yet, he will when they'd be lucky to limp into the bye at 2-6.

The rams are improving all the time.....so it won't be any walk over when they play them anyway.

What is interesting is how overrated the 49ers roster is. They lack a #1 wide receiver, a top QB, and a stable line on offense. Their playmakers consist of a top TE and tough running back. Offensively they struggle to generate splash plays which makes it very tough to move the ball down the field.

Defensively, they have outplayed their talent for years. No edge pass rusher, average DE's, a lack of depth at CB, and hard hitting but limited safeties. Talent wise they have a pro bowl NT, the best LBer in the game, and a declining but solid corner. That is it.

I can't see the 49ers winning more than 6 games this season. They just don't have the players.
