First half impressions: Lakers are clearly better than Suns. Lakers bench >>>>> Suns bench -- Diaw sucks, Barbosa takes too many shots and makes few, there is no one after that.

CLEARLY.

forget the fact that shaq hasnt played in a month, is in a new offense ect ect. /insert drama queen icon

This is the first game with Shaq against a damn good Laker team, so a loss is probable, but I like the way Shaq is playing, he is very useful. We have enough time to get together, Coach D has to make some adjusments especially with Diaw (and maybe Amare), and I'm sure we will be fine when the post season begins.

Stephen A. plus Walton is the worst chemistry I've ever seen. It's like the commentary version of the Knicks.

BINGO. He's rusty and coming off an injury, but he got a Gasol foul early, which is a big aspect of what he can bring. Get the other team's big men in foul trouble, good for us.

I like what I see so far, except for the TO's on the outlet passes, and losing a couple of rebounds after he had them. We already know he sucks at FT's, no sense in getting worked up over that aspect.

Shaq defended paint well, when Shaq went to bench with his 3rd foul, we were down by 3. The Lakers pulled out to 11 right after that, lucky to be back to 8 b4 the end of the half.

I'm sure we will have some struggle to find the new offensive system. But I expect more from Nash's passing and Shaq's scoring.

Both Bell and Diaw played very very poorly in the first half, that's the reason we r 8 points behind. Hopefully they can find their touch in second half.

A good thing is that Kobe played all 24 minutes for his 20 points, I doubt if he can play all 48 minutes with the same energy.
