Intrigued with McCrane also but Dawson not getting cut. JJ Nelson may make the team but he did nothing to earn it. Was hoping Little would step up but he didn't. I did like Tolliver.

I was at the game and watched DJ Foster get carted off so I’m not too sure how the RB room is going to work out.

Also was a bit concerning Reddick playing into the 4th quarter. But I thought he played pretty well. Looked like we opened up in nickel with Bynes and Bucannon starting.

The chances of keeping 2 fullbacks are slim IMO.
If Foster is done then they could keep Penny as the 4th RB/ 2nd FB.

I doubt Dawson gets cut just because they're only giving McCrane garbage time.

Guys like Vollert, JJ Nelson, Pasoni Tasini, Cap Capi, Jacquies Smith, Scooby Wright, Edmond Robinson, Rudy Ford & AJ Howard are all bubble guys that can be upgraded from other teams cuts.

I like Capi, but either he hasn't gotten a chance against better competition or he hasn't shown anything when he did get his chance. He destroys 3rd & 4th string guys though.

Don’t really see “garbage time” in regards to kicking. McCrane has been excellent. Dawson has not.

If they trusted him, he'd be out there kicking at the beginning of the games ahead of Dawson. I agree that Dawson has been too inconsistent, but we've barely seen McCrane so who knows how he's done in practice.

Was going to say the same thing.

Exactly, because the fullback is not a situational role on this offense but a prominent role in this offense which one usually carries depth. We have no other back which fits the required bulk other than Penny who's learning a position which goes beyond short yardage... Elijhaa can also excel at special teams

And can also play short yardage RB in addition to FB.

I figured DJ Foster was a practice player before this game... now that he appears to have torn his ACL, I gotta think he's gone.

No confidence in Phil Dawson at all (doesn't sound like he has it either).

We can't count on him the way you need to from a veteran guy making more money. I would move on from him.

Definitely, and the young kid seems to be a good one

I was a little more than "a bit concerned", and if Gerald Hodges is out there starting day, that is ANOTHER bust for Keim at the top of a draft, and this time there was big time talent passed over by Keim. Wasn't happy when it happened and the project to make Reddick a ILBer, seems to have failed up to this point.

I think they will carry two fullbacks since it's major part of the offense... include Penny :)

I think since Penny plays special teams, fullback, and running back that he could be the temporary 4th RB. TJ Logan looks like he can be a serviceable 3rd RB for the team.

Agree. Gotta keep Penny.
