Call me if someone releases a good CB.

if bethel was healthy, i would be totally ok with it. Since his foot is injured, I do have concern as I have little to no faith in williams at this time. He is not ready from what I have seen.I'm really perplexed that we went into the season depending on Bethel, who was unimpressive and coming off injury, and a 3rd round rookie who only played the position for 1 year in college.
I don't think it might means we'll be terrible or any nonsense like that that I'm sure some will project on to the above, but man, that spot is going to be super super rough, IMO.

They did bring in Mike Jenkins and I think they were counting on him as a contingency plan. However that plan blew up when he tore his ACL a week ago.
I think now it's time for plan B. Time for Keim to work the phones and waiver wire.

If Manny Lawson can't make the Bills (who lost Mario Williams and two OLBs already), he might not be good at football anymore.
I'm a little mystified that people think we can have the most talented 53-man roster in the NFL and AT THE SAME TIME benefit from a half-dozen castoffs from teams like the Bills, who will be happy to finish the season 8-8 and were among the 5 worst Ds in the NFL last year.
this is about finding back end depth to fill out the roster, not getting starters.
That's fine, but Manny Lawson wasn't good enough to be back-end depth for the BILLS. He's not better than Okafor.

Plan C - they also brought in Alan Ball (injured), Asa Jackson (not very good), Bouka (injured), the Australian (not very good), and draft two CBs (but neither meant to start now) - so it wasn't for lack of trying.

Devin McCluster KR/RB was cut today.
