I am hoping that Alfonso Smith gets a chance to return at some point. He has given this team every ounce of his ability and can be counted on.

Talley had such a good opportunity---especially if he could show some inside pass rush---but he had trouble getting off of blocks all pre-season.

Sturdivant is making strides---but it looked like Colin Parker had a better game the last two weeks, so it could be Parker, not Sturdivant to the PS.

slot WR Danny Coale, cut by Dallas, and S Cody Grimm (Russ's son cut by Tampa Bay who started as a rookie last year). Both VERY good STs as well---a trademark of VT players.

Anyone see any surprise cuts on our end today? I don't really think so - but I wouldn't shed a tear if Heap were gone (don't think it will happen because he took less money this year) and wouldn't be floored a vet like Haggans or James Sanders went in favor of younger blood.
