Hightower cut by the Skins. CB Joselio Hansen by Philly.
I hear Mackovicka is available too.
Didn't really show up until last night and his nice interception.
Funny, he had a nice interception in his last pre-season game with the Steelers before the cut him and the Cardinals claimed him.
He might get a look elsewhere.
Poor guy got hosed on the catch that set up the game winning field goal.
Some of the worst offensive pass interference I have ever seen.
Hoyer cut by NE
Things that make you go hmmm...
Hoyer cut by NE
Hoyer looked VERY Kolb/Skeltonish this preseason.Yeah I would look heavily at Hoyer and consider cutting Lindley to the PS. That would be a cheap upgrade, with a guy that could start if/when Kolb and Skelton suck/injured.

Lindley would never clear to the PS.
I would take a shot at Joselio Hanson as he is a terrific nickel corner.
I'm torn on Hoyer, teams generally don't cut quality QBs.
Sounds like Eagles are cutting Brandon Washington OG and trying to get him on the practice squad.
I am interested to see what LBs the Broncos cut. Several names on that depth chart that I have liked. (Irving, Franklin, Beal played DE for them.)
If we go after Hoyer, it will be because Jason Licht like what he saw in him while he was in New England.
They do when they're scheduled to make 1.9 million as the third string.
I really like Irving; would cut Walker for him, Irving is more dynamic.
And suck in preseason.
The only reason the Pats put a 2nd round tender on him was to increase the PR on him to raise his stock and try to trade him. That has been the story all offseason long.
Rotoworld got it right, "It's also an indication Hoyer's stock isn't nearly as high around the league as the Patriots' press corps has long believed. Hoyer was tendered at the second-round level in March after beat writers speculated he might receive a first-round tender."
Sturdivant is making strides---but it looked like Colin Parker had a better game the last two weeks, so it could be Parker, not Sturdivant to the PS.

and this is why I put my faith in Jason Licht. If the Cards grab Hoyer it is because Licht really likes him, and if they don't, Licht knows he is nothing special.
On one of his earlier plays last night, I saw Sturdivant overrun his gap and find himself out of position on a zone cutback running play. He looked pretty good on other plays, but the inconsistency (compared to other contenders) this week probably did him in.+1
Sturdivant is gone. I don't see what others see in the guy. He looks slow and lost out of the field to me. I'd rather see Parker stick around.
